‘Roots Picnic’ To Debut In London This Summer With Nas, Sasha Keable & Loads More

Roots Picnic is one of the States’ most-anticipated annual festivals and now it’s finally coming to the Big Smoke.

Founded by Grammy-winning hip-hop group, The Roots, the Roots Picnic is a yearly festival in Philadelphia that brings together some of the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B, and soul. Over the years, the festival has seen a number of huge names take to the stage including Usher, The Weeknd, Mary J. Blige and Lauryn Hill, with the 2026 event welcoming Jay-Z and Erykah Badu as headliners.

Now Roots Picnic is coming to London for its first ever international edition, bringing with it a stacked line-up across two days.

Due to take place at Crystal Palace Bowl on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August, Roots Picnic London will welcome a star-studded string of headliners including Nas + The Roots, Sasha Keable, Anthony Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild.

The line-up also features the likes of Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def), Benny The Butcher, Black Thought and Common, as well as iconic British duo Floetry who will be performing in the UK for the first time in over a decade.

Judging by the names on the line-up, it’s set to be a weekend full of good vibes and even better music.

Pre-sale tickets go live here on Monday (April 20) at 12pm BST, with general sale tickets going on sale the following day.
