London Is Officially Getting Its Own Time Out Market

Big news for foodies as Time Out has revealed plans to open its first ever London market.

Set to open in 2028, Time Out Market London will be located at the gateway of Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus and will offer a wide selection of restaurants and bars. The market will also feature a year-round programme of cultural events and entertainment reflecting the city’s diverse and creative spirit.

The market will become Time Out’s flagship venue when it opens – marking a full circle moment for the company which was established in London in 1968.

Since opening its first market in Lisbon back in 2014, Time Out has opened venues all across the world in cities such as New York, Dubai and Cape Town. Every Time Out market is curated by local editorial teams who are dedicated to finding the best chefs and restauranteurs in each city.

Chris Ohlund, CEO of Time Out Group plc, said: ‘Securing this partnership with The Crown Estate to create our global flagship in the heart of Piccadilly Circus is one of the most significant milestones in Time Out’s nearly 60-year history. Bringing the globally recognised Time Out Market concept home to London is both a celebration of where we began and a statement of where we are going.”
