After teasing its opening last year, iconic London jazz club Ronnie Scott’s has revealed the official launch date of its brand-new venue in the capital.
Dubbed ‘Upstairs At Ronnie’s’, the new space will be located above Ronnie Scott’s current club in Soho. It will host live music events showcasing the best acts in jazz, soul, rare groove, gospel and more, as well as hosting music conferences.
With a capacity of 140, the venue promises an intimate setting with enhanced acoustics thanks to its high-spec Yamaha and D&B Audio sound and lighting systems, a Yamaha S3X Grand Piano and an upgraded stage.
Music lovers won’t have to wait long to check out Upstairs At Ronnie’s as it’s set to open its doors on Friday 6th February.
Not only have we got an opening date, we’ve also received details of the venue’s opening line-up which features the likes of Ronnie Scott’s Gospel Choir, Ashley Henry, Tawiah and more. Composer David Arnold and actress Juliet Stevenson are also due to take part in talks.
