A New 3,800 Capacity Music Venue Is Opening In West London Real Soon

Big news for music heads as the capital is set to get a brand-new music venue in 2026.

Named the British Airways ARC, the 3,800 music and events space will be located above the existing west exhibition hall in Olympic which was originally built 140 years ago. The venue will be operated by AEG Presents, the people behind All Points East and BST Hyde Park, and is part of the £1.3 billion regeneration of the historic Olympia site that will also feature a theatre, 30 bars, restaurants, two hotels and offices.

With the venue due to open some time next year, AEG Presents Europe’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Spencer, said they were opening their diary for bookings.

“We’re delighted to be working with British Airways and as we take the next step towards opening all the teams are very excited,” Spencer said. “Olympia is a place that has an incredible musical history which we want to honour whilst creating a venue that is thoroughly modern with world class facilities for artists and fans alike.”

British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming, added: “We’re so excited to be a part of Olympia to showcase the very best homegrown and international entertainment”.

An official launch date is yet to be announed for British Airways ARC but it’s shaping up to be another prominent venue for live music in the city.
